Litle Pups was founded by a family of lifelong dog people who loved toy breeds and hated what careless breeding was doing to them. Tiny dogs raised without health testing, socialization, or honesty end up with heartbreak on both ends of the leash. We built our program around the opposite set of choices: fewer litters, healthier parents, and puppies raised in a home — not a warehouse.

How our program works

Every puppy in our care follows the same raised-at-home protocol:

• Health first: parent dogs are health-screened for the conditions that affect their breed, and every puppy leaves with a veterinary exam record, vaccination history, and a written health guarantee.
• Early foundations: puppies are handled daily, exposed to household sounds and surfaces, and started on crate familiarity and name recognition before they go home.
• No early departures: puppies stay with their mother and littermates through the developmental window that matters, and we will hold a puppy longer rather than ship it early.
• Honest matching: we would rather talk a family out of a breed that does not fit their life than make a sale that returns a dog.

For the life of the dog

Adoption from Litle Pups comes with lifetime breeder support: call us about feeding, training setbacks, or the surprise behavior question at year four. We also include a contractual home-return commitment — no Litle Pups dog ever ends up in a shelter because its family hit hard times. Families across the country have welcomed our puppies, and most found us the way good news travels: from another family.

If a healthy, well-socialized companion matters more than a fast transaction, Litle Pups raises toy-breed puppies the way we would want our own — with patience, records, and love.
